Children’s Services

Childrens Services

May 11th 2017

We are currently seeking expressions of interest in running children’s services at Manor House, to compliment the wide variety of activities for children provided by existing user-groups and the library service.

We are looking to hear from any organisation, or prospective organisation, with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to run services for children in the four rooms that make up the lower ground floor of Manor House in Lee, Lewisham.

Due to high demand within the community for more childcare we wish to get underway as soon as possible. Priority will be given to those who are both local, and able, physically and financially, to move in and start providing services quickly.

Ideally we are looking for a group who can provide all of the following:

• Crèche, playgroup or nursery facilities for pre-school
• Wrap-around services for local primary schools,
• Weekend and holiday clubs with a diverse mix of opportunities.

Services must be open to all, affordable and non-faith based. A willingness to work with other groups on site, as well as antenatal and prenatal support services for parents a must.

Many of the required amenities are already installed on site, although you should complete your own checks of any equipment to be used or left behind by the previous service suppliers. Manor House is a grade 2* listed building and appropriate approval must be sought for any changes.

To express an interest in receiving a tender pack please email charlotte@mhlibrary.co.uk before midnight on 19th May 2017. Viewings, strictly by appointment only, can also be requested by contacting the above.
